Facultyfest is August 31, 12:30 to 17:00, for incoming first-year engineers. Clubsfest is September 14, 16:30 to 19:30 on the JHE field during B2S week.

It asks which subteam you're interested in, plus a few short questions about why you want to join and any past experience.
Interview with a subteam
Every subteam runs its own interview, usually 30 minutes to an hour, about what you'd want to work on.
Start building
You're in. Show up to meetings, come to build sessions, and get to work on a real vehicle.

I have never built anything. Can I still join?
Yes, and most of us started there. First-term members are paired with someone who has done the job before, and your first deliverable is deliberately small. The team exists to teach this.
I am not in engineering. Is there a place for me?
Yes. Operations is a full subteam: it runs sponsorship, the budget, and everything we do on campus. Commerce, communications, humanities and science students all sit on it. Payload also takes science students most years.
How much time does it actually take?
About six hours a week for most members.
Can I join partway through the year?
Not usually. We hire during a set window each term, at Clubsfest and Facultyfest, rather than on a rolling basis. If you missed the window, email us and we'll get back if there are any openings.
What if I want to try a different subteam later?
Normal, and encouraged. Plenty of people move once they have seen what the other subteams actually do.
